Jonny Smith suffered play-off defeat as AFC Fylde fell to a 2-1 loss against Boreham Wood.
The Bristol City youngster played 81 minutes for his loan club on Thursday night (May 3rd), before he was substituted, but the Coasters could not find a crucial goal to force extra-time.
The result means Boreham Wood have progressed to play Sutton United in the Vanarama National League play-off semi-final.
Last night's match was played at Meadow Park and was broadcast live on BT Sport.
There was further play-off disappointment for goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott earlier in the week. The White Tigers were beaten 3-1 by Hampton and Richmond Borough, after extra-time, despite a string of good saves from the young City shotstopper.
The Matthew Bromley memorial basketball games will take place from 4pm on Saturday, May 28th at the SGS College Arena.
