Pisano makes long-awaited return

Eros Pisano returns to the City starting XI for the first time since October 31st as City host Sheffield Wednesday at Ashton Gate (3pm kick-off).

The Italian defender starts at right-back in place of Bailey Wright, who is absent after having an injection on his knee this week.

Nathan Baker has failed a fitness test on his groin, meaning Hordur Magnusson switches to centre-back.

With Loïs Diony dropping to the bench, Bobby Reid moves up front, leaving Marlon Pack and Jamie Paterson to be recalled in midfield.

Bristol City: Fielding, Pisano, Flint, Magnusson, Bryan, Brownhill, Pack, Smith, Paterson, Diédhiou, Reid. Subs: Steele, Kelly, O'Neil, Kent, Walsh, Eliasson, Diony.
