🎥 Pearson wants City to maintain intensity

Nigel Pearson wants City to maintain the intensity of their recent performances as they head into FA Cup action against Fulham in BS3 on Saturday (12:30pm).

Saturday's fixture will be the second time the two sides have met this season after it ended 1-1 at Ashton Gate in the SkyBet Championship fixture back in September courtesy of a late equaliser from the hosts.

After coming back from a deficit in the second half to take all three points against Millwall in BS3 on Sunday, Pearson's side head into this game keen to maintain the intensity of their performance and get another positive result at the start of 2022.

Speaking to Robins TV, Pearson said: "We have been inconsistent this season so far but of course in the last few games there has been improvements with how we've played and I'd like to keep that going.

"We know Fulham are a good side and we expect them to put out a strong side because they have missed games recently due to the Covid situation, so for them it's an opportunity to get back into the swing of things, it'll be a tough game for us."

The City manager also discussed the progress that Cameron Pring has made this season after the 23-year-old recently signed a new contact with the club, while he also gave an update on George Tanner, who will be out of action for several months with a hamstring injury.
