Nigel Pearson has challenged his Bristol City side to replicate their improved home form on the road as well as find a ruthless edge in front of goal.
The Robins travel to the MKM Stadium in search of successive league victories against a Hull City side who have put together a run of one draw and four victories in their last five outings.
The City manager also discussed the boost of Matty James returning to the midfield and an update on Nathan Baker.
Speaking to Robins TV, Pearson said: “We need to get back to winning ways away from home and we need to start getting back-to-back wins.
“To make any progress in any league, especially this one (Championship) we’ve got to get away results to back up our improved home form.
“We’ve had problems at home in terms of being creative, so to create a number of good opportunities is one thing but we need to start making life a bit easier for ourselves by converting those.”
Tickets are still available to purchase for Saturday's SkyBet Championship matchup at the MKM Stadium, and supporters will also be able to pay on the day.
Chris Vui and Charles Piutau were in action in the opening round of the Pacific Nations Cup, with Tonga beaten by Fiji and Samoa edging out Australia A.
