📣 Pearson gives squad update

Nigel Pearson provided an injury update ahead of Saturday’s fixture with Peterborough United at Ashton Gate (3pm).

Antoine Semenyo and Joe Williams have both recovered from knee and hamstring injuries respectively and the City manager told Robins TV: "They are both training this morning and they will be in the squad for this weekend."

Antoine Semenyo will be back in the squad to face Peterborough United

City will be without defender Tomas Kalas as he continues his recovery with Pearson adding: “Tomas won't be fit for this weekend. He's not in a position where he's able to be in the squad, it's as simple as that. We'll have to see how it goes in the next few weeks.”

Tomas Kalas is still sidelined

Despite playing 45 minutes for the Under 23s on Tuesday, Pearson said that George Tanner is unavailable for the game on the weekend due to him needing to work on his fitness conditioning to resume Championship football, whilst Callum O’Dowda (knee) and Andy King (hamstring) continue their rehabilitation from their respective injuries.
