🎥 Pearson focuses on positives despite Terriers loss

Nigel Pearson focused on the positives from an encouraging end to the season despite defeat to promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town.

The manager admitted that the Robins were defeated by an “accomplished” Terriers team whom he believes could reach the Premier League.

Pearson praised the City players’ efforts in a game where Huddersfield posed a significant counter-attack threat, telling Robins TV: “Huddersfield are as good as we have played against all season, they are better than the last time we played them, and I wouldn't be surprised if they get to the Premier League.

"We stuck at it. I think the players worked exceptionally hard today and they're frustrated with themselves because we couldn't get something out of the game. We created a number of chances, it's not as if we were always on the back foot. There were some really good contributions out there."

Nigel Pearson spoke about George Tanner's return; how Duncan Idehen is unfazed by the opportunity he has been handed; and creating a positive identity.
