Paterson passed fit to face Wolves

Jamie Paterson is back in the City starting XI to face Championship table toppers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He was ruled out of playing against QPR shortly before kick-off on December 23rd, while he was restricted to a cameo appearance last time out against Reading.

But Paterson has been passed fit to start and will line up behind Bobby Reid in the City attack today.

Matty Taylor is moved to the bench in Lee Johnson's only change to the side which started against Reading on Boxing Day.

It's second versus first in the league when Bristol City host Wolves at 5.30pm.

City: Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Magnusson, Brownhill, Pack, Smith, Bryan, Paterson, Reid. Subs: Steele, Vyner, Kelly, Eliasson, Leko, Woodrow, Taylor.

Wolves: Ruddy, Batth, Boly, Coady, Doherty, Saiss, Neves, Douglas, Costa, Jota, Bonatini. Subs: Norris, N'Diaye, Bennett, Cavaleiro, Gibbs-White, Enobakhare, Hause.

Referee: Peter Bankes
