Pack Gets One Game Ban

Marlon Pack will sit out Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Blackburn Rovers at Ashton Gate.

The midfielder’s caution in the weekend’s 3-0 defeat at Rotherham United was his fifth of the season, triggering an automatic one-game ban.

Boss Steve Cotterill told Bristol City Player HD: “It’s frustrating because he’s been on four bookings for a long time and it’s been hanging over him.

“It was actually the final game in which a booking would have triggered the ban; had he made it through the weekend he would have been okay.”

As well as being without Pack, City also have concerns over Nathan Baker and Jonathan Kodjia.

Baker was substituted at half-time during the New York Stadium defeat after suffering with breathing problems.

Kodjia, meanwhile, had shaken off a knee problem to feature on Saturday and took several more knocks during the game.
