Pack always looking to continue improving

Marlon Pack says he hopes to make an impact in the final four games of the 2017/18 season, as City chase a top-six spot.

The midfielder got his side up and running in their 3-1 victory over Birmingham City on Tuesday night, with a well-struck free kick just 12 minutes into the fixture.

The Robins next travel to Middlesbrough, where a win at the Riverside tomorrow (April 14th, 3pm kick-off) would see Lee Johnson's side overtake their opponents in the Sky Bet Championship table, and keep the pressure on their other promotion-chasing rivals.

Speaking ahead of the trip, Pack told BCTV how his free kicks has been one of the areas he has been keen to develop this season.

He said: "It's something I've been practicing. Joe Bryan and I have both been on set piece duties regularly and even Bobby tried to take it off me on Tuesday night. I said 'no, I've been practicing all week' and I was confident I could score!

"It's a part of my game that I have been working on and it's nice to chip in with some goals, a few assists and hopefully I can contribute more as the season continues.

"We are always learning, regardless of how many games you play. Here we have a number of lads who are quite capable of set pieces and deliveries but I have tried to step up and want to take on that role from now."

Be sure to see him fighting to take the next set piece around Boro's penalty area, should the opportunity arise this weekend!
