Pack always looking to continue improving

Marlon Pack says he hopes to make an impact in the final four games of the 2017/18 season, as City chase a top-six spot.

The midfielder got his side up and running in their 3-1 victory over Birmingham City on Tuesday night, with a well-struck free kick just 12 minutes into the fixture.

The Robins next travel to Middlesbrough, where a win at the Riverside tomorrow (April 14th, 3pm kick-off) would see Lee Johnson's side overtake their opponents in the Sky Bet Championship table, and keep the pressure on their other promotion-chasing rivals.

Speaking ahead of the trip, Pack told BCTV how his free kicks has been one of the areas he has been keen to develop this season.

He said: "It's something I've been practicing. Joe Bryan and I have both been on set piece duties regularly and even Bobby tried to take it off me on Tuesday night. I said 'no, I've been practicing all week' and I was confident I could score!

"It's a part of my game that I have been working on and it's nice to chip in with some goals, a few assists and hopefully I can contribute more as the season continues.

"We are always learning, regardless of how many games you play. Here we have a number of lads who are quite capable of set pieces and deliveries but I have tried to step up and want to take on that role from now."
