Owura joins Grimsby Town on loan

Owura Edwards has joined Grimsby Town on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old midfielder and younger brother of Opi, Edwards spent last season on loan at Bath City and now joins up with Ian Holloway’s League Two Mariners. City have a January recall option.

The Robins recruited the second-year professional from Newport County after he impressed while on loan with the Robins' U18s in the 2018/19 season and last summer signed a two-year contract with a one-year option.
