Open trials for SGS College Female Football Academy

SGS College Academy are to host trials for prospective female footballers.

The college academy is the second step on the progression ladder towards Bristol City Women’s first team.

Players can advance from the regional talent club (formerly the centre of excellence) into the college setup which forms the majority of City Women’s development squad.

The opportunity for senior football may follow with Willie Kirk’s side, who currently play in the Women’s Super League 2.

The trials will take place on Saturday, July 23rd (11am-2pm). Players should meet at SGS college reception around 10.45am.

Trialists will receive a free ticket for the Vixens’ match against London Bees at Stoke Gifford Stadium that evening (6pm kick-off).

Players must be studying a full time course at SGS College. Information on courses provided can be found here.

To confirm your attendance or for more information, contact female football academy head coach Lauren Smith by e-mail (lauren.smith@sgscol.ac.uk).
