Gary O'Neil completed 90 minutes for City Under-23s in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Cheltenham Town.
Second-half goals from Jake Andrews and Cauley Woodrow secured a 2-1 victory against the Gloucestershire side at a wintery SGS College in Filton.
O'Neil - playing his third match for the development side - was joined by Woodrow, Lloyd Kelly and Niclas Eliasson from the first-team group.
Brian Graham scored to give the visitors a half-time advantage, but City improved after the break.
Andrews, playing against the club where he is currently on loan, scored a brilliant free kick to draw City level.
Then Woodrow pounced to score the winner soon after.
City Under-23s: Wollacott (Sesay), Nurse (Edwards), Baldwin, Harvey Smith, Kelly, Andrews, Bakinson (Morton), O'Neil, Eliasson, Hinds (Holden), Woodrow (Semenyo). Subs not used: Akpobire, Richards.
Max Malins says he is ready and raring to go ahead of a potential return to action against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday (5pm KO, live on BT Sport 3 HD).
