One change to face Bolton

Josh Brownhill returns to City’s starting XI against Bolton Wanderers this evening, as central defender Nathan Baker marks the first of his three-match ban.

Brownhill is the only change to Lee Johnson’s side which lined up against QPR last weekend

Skipper Bailey Wright shifts into his natural centre-back position, with Korey Smith slotting into right-back.

Brownhill has been called into central midfield where he will partner Marlon Pack, with Ryan Kent and Jamie Paterson operating the wings.

Birthday boy Bobby Reid joins Famara Diédhiou up front.

Bolton v City at the Macron Stadium kicks off at 8pm.

City: Steele, Smith, Wright, Flint, Bryan, Kent, Pack, Brownhill, Paterson, Reid, Diédhiou. Subs: Wollacott, Magnusson, Kelly, Walsh, Eliasson, Diony, Engvall.

Bolton: Alnwick, Little, Wheater, Dervite, Robinson, Beevers, Henry, Ameobi, Vela, Buckley, Walker. Subs: Howard, Taylor, Le Fondre, Buckley, Flanagan, Morais, Clough.

Referee: Andrew Madley
