Callum O’Dowda has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland’s UEFA Nations League clash with Wales tomorrow evening (Tuesday).
The 23-year-old was replaced at half-time in Saturday's goalless draw with Denmark after feeling unwell.
O’Dowda has been monitored over the last 48 hours, but having not trained since the game, he won’t be considered for selection against Ryan Giggs’ outfit.
O’Dowda will return to Bristol and link-up with his City teammates on Wednesday, in preparation for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash at Brentford (October 20th, 3pm).
Lee Johnson’s men will be backed by a sold out away end and Griffin Park and fans without a ticket are urged to not travel as they will not gain entry.
