Callum O’Dowda could feature for the Republic of Ireland tonight in the second leg of their 2018 FIFA World Cup play-off (7.45pm).
The national side will host Denmark at a sold out Aviva Stadium, with nothing to separate the teams after the goalless draw in Copenhagen.
O'Dowda completed 90 minutes in the first leg four days ago, in what was his second senior start, and the City wideman will hope to earn his ninth cap this evening as Martin O’Neill’s side bid to reach the summer tournament.
Meanwhile, Hordur Magnusson’s Iceland - who have already qualified for Russia - will hope to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Czech Republic last time out when they travel to Qatar for a friendly this afternoon (kick-off 4.30pm).
