Numbers game: Derby County (H)

We break down the statistics from City's 3-2 home win against Derby County.

January recruits Nahki Wells and Filip Benković grabbed their first City goals, before Famara Diédhiou added a third with City on course for a comfortable win at Ashton Gate on Wednesday night.

But it had been a closely-fought fixture and back came Derby with goals from Martyn Waghorn and Chris Martin to set up a nervy final few minutes.

As the Rams piled forward in their pursuit of an equaliser, City even missed two late opportunities to extend their lead but they woudn't matter as Lee Johnson's men held on regardless to go joint sixth in the Sky Bet Championship, ahead of their trip to face Leeds United at Elland Road this Saturday (February 15th, 3pm KO).
