Nine Changes For City In EFL Cup

Lee Johnson makes nine changes to his side as City hunt a Premier League scalp in the EFL Cup against Hull City at Ashton Gate (7.45pm).

Only Aden Flint and Scott Golbourne survive from the team that started Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship victory over Blackburn Rovers.

Frank Fielding, Hordur Magnusson, Lee Tomlin and Tammy Abraham are among the players rested.

Richard O’Donnell starts in goal, while Gustav Engvall makes his first Ashton Gate appearance since his summer move from IFK Gothenburg.

Bristol City: O’Donnell, Little, Flint, Moore, Golbourne, Pack, Reid, O’Dowda, Engvall, Bryan, Wilbraham. Subs: Lucic, Magnusson, O’Neil, Brownhill, Tomlin, Abraham, McCoulsky.

Hull City: Jakupovic, Maguire, Dawson, Davies, Elmohamady, Livermore, Mason, Henriksen, Tymon, Diomande, Hernandez. Subs: Kuciak, Bowen, Huddlestone, Meyler, Clucas, Weir, Maloney.
