Niclas Eliasson has joined Ligue 1 side Nîmes Olympique on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The former Sweden Under-21 winger made 96 appearances for City after arriving from Norrkoping in August 2017, scoring seven goals in all competitions and 21 assists.
City Chief Executive Mark Ashton said: “Niclas has been a popular member of the squad over the last three years and we wish him all the best. He is a young man who needs to play games consistently and I am sure he will do well in Ligue 1.”
Head Coach Dean Holden said: “Niclas and myself have been in regular contact throughout my time in charge and he felt that this was a move he wanted to pursue. On behalf of the whole squad I’d like to thank Niclas for all he has given to this club and he goes with our blessing.”
