Bristol City have signed up another four of their young promising players on long-term contracts.
Tommy Conway, Owura Edwards, Sam Pearson and Ryley Towler have all progressed through the club’s Academy to make their first team debuts this season.
Conway, Pearson and Towler have agreed three-year contracts, while Edwards has a two-year deal with the Robins having an additional year’s option.
City Manager Nigel Pearson said: “I’m delighted for them. They have all done well this season along with the other young players who have performed well in difficult circumstances. That first team exposure will be invaluable and they now have a great opportunity next season, either within our set-up or out on loan, to push on further. Their progress is a good example for the younger players from the Academy.”
The quartet follow Academy graduates Sam Bell, Alex Scott and Harvey Wiles-Richards in signing contracts recently and Player Pathway Manager Brian Tinnion said: “We are very pleased with the players’ development this season and it’s great that they have committed to the club. Their application and attitude is first class and we are looking forward to the next stage of their careers with us.”
