Following on from recent GCSE and A-Level results, Bristol City Community Trust have enrolled over 100 new students on to its education programme ahead of the new academic year.
Along with the new starters, the Trust have also re-registered all of the returning students from last year, who are preparing to embark on their final year of study at Ashton Gate.
The club’s official charity will have over 130 students studying across six education programmes this academic year, a number that continues to grow on a yearly basis as the courses go from strength to strength.
The Community Trust’s head of education Chris Stenner said: “It’s great to see so many students opting to study with us and take advantage of the unique and exciting environment at Ashton Gate.
“The best part of my role is to witness the students who really want to be here excel in their studies and the practical elements incorporated within their respective courses.
“We ensure our students are treated like an employee, with the view that some will graduate and go on to work with us, or for a similar club or organisation where their focus is to inspire communities.”
The Trust’s education courses range from post-16 to degree level, all of which provide students with the perfect opportunity to kick-start their career in the sports industry.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2018/19 academic year for each of the following programmes:
