👏 NCS making the community a better place

The camps are specifically designed for young people in years 11&12, to give young people the chance to step out of their comfort zone, have fun, make new friends and learn new skills.

Part of the programme is also focused on making positive changes to the community. Participants discuss what issues they feel passionate about and then using the tools they have learnt from the programme create social action projects to make a lasting impact. 

This week the NCS group spent a day presenting their social action projects to the team leaders. They then used the next 3 days to carry out these projects across Bristol to raise money which will go to a chosen charity.
