James Morton has been recalled from his loan spell at Forest Green Rovers.
The 20-year-old midfielder made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Green Army, helping the Gloucestershire side fight for a place around the Sky Bet League Two play-offs. He made four four assists in that time, and scored an important penalty versus Charlton Athletic.
Morton signed a four year contract with City, with the option of a further 12 months, in September having spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Bath City, where he scored one goal and notched 12 assists in 50 appearances, en route to helping the Romans reach the Vanarama South play-offs.
Morton follows in the footsteps of Jojo Wollacott who has also been recalled from Rovers this week.
Chris Vui and Charles Piutau were in action in the opening round of the Pacific Nations Cup, with Tonga beaten by Fiji and Samoa edging out Australia A.
