Joe Morrell scored from the penalty spot as Wales Under-21s drew 2-2 with Georgia.
Sunday's (June 3rd) fixture was the first of two tests against the same opposition for Rob Page’s side who are preparing for the second half of their European Championship qualification campaign.
Georgia took the lead through Beka Mikeltadze's 25-yard strike after Wales had hit the crossbar. But they were level when Morrell cooly slotted home from 12 yards on the half-hour mark.
Mark Harris showed quick reactions to put Page's side ahead but Georgia fought back in the second half, with Mikeltadze converting a late penalty of his own.
Page's youngsters face Georgia U-21s at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium on Wednesday (June 6th). The match kicks off at 8pm local time.
Morrell was loaned out to League Two side Cheltenham Town for the 2017/18 season, where he made 39 appearances and netted three times.
