Jamie Paterson says City are "more than capable" of reaching the Premier League.
They sit one point outside of the play-off places heading into their Good Friday clash with Barnsley (March 30th 3pm kick-off).
Attacking midfielder-cum-winger Paterson is relishing the run-in, with City's trip north to Oakwell the first of their final eight games of the 2017/18 season.
And there's all to play for, with the likes of fellow promotion-chasing Middlesbrough and Millwall still to play.
Paterson said: "It’s in our hands at the minute, we’re only a point away from the play-offs.
"We still have to play teams in and around us, teams at the bottom too so we know it won’t be easy but we just have to win as many games as possible now.
"100 per cent, yes," he added, reflecting on if he believes City are good enough to step up.
Paterson continued: "From training with them, week-in, week-out, playing against sides at the top and in the Premier League we have more than enough to get in the play-offs and get promotion.
"I want to chip in with as many goals and assists as possible but it doesn’t matter how we get the three points and that’s what we will continue to do on Friday."
