More Than 400 Young Footballers To Take Part In Sister Club Tournament

Over 36 teams are booked in for girl’s football festival at Stoke Gifford Stadium on Saturday, September 10th.

City Women head coach, Willie Kirk is delighted with the response to the football festival.

“It’s great, we have a young team ourselves but our players are role models.
"We have 400-500 young budding players coming along to the game on Saturday and that’s the sort of level of interest that we want to generate.
"Hopefully it will help inspire the next generation of superstars to wear the Bristol Strip."
The festival will be played ahead of the Bristol City Women v Watford Ladies FC game.

Click here to buy tickets to the game on Saturday, September 10th (KO 6:00pm).
