Media Watch - October 5th

Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

The Bristol Post have launched their new City podcast Robins on the Wire which will discuss all the happenings at Ashton Gate over the coming season.

Gary O'Neil's three months on the sidelines has also been reported by the BBC. The midfielder is to undergo surgery, as Lee Johnson revealed in an exclusive Facebook Live interview earlier this week.

The Championship's assist maestro Jamie Paterson enjoyed scoring in City's 4-1 win over Derby County last month as he responded to chants from the home crowd, reports The Football League Paper.

Robins boss Johnson also discussed Barry Bannan as a player he admires during his Facebook Live chat earlier in the week, as The 72 reports.

And the City fans have certainly been getting creative with their song for club record signing Famara Diedhiou, the Post reports.

These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
