Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

City's Shawn McCoulsky netted in Newport County's 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Swansea City’s U-23s last night. The result sees the Exiles eliminated from the competition but McCoulsky was one of the candidates for the man-of-the-match award, writes the Bristol Post in their daily blog.

Shekicks.net previews the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup with the Vixens in action against Tottenham Hotspur Ladies on Thursday night (7.45pm).

'A great signing' and 'a real class act' is how the writers at Football League World have described City's record signing Famara Diedhiou after his excellent start to the season.

And Burton Albion boss Nigel Clough says his side will need to match the pace and intensity of City when they travel to Ashton Gate on Friday night (7.45pm), writes the Burton Mail.
