City winger Callum O'Dowda has been named in the EFL Team of the Week. The Republic of Ireland international, who is preparing to face Denmark in the World Cup group play-offs, bagged his first Bristol City league goal on Saturday against Cardiff City.

Football League World says Lee Johnson's squad made a statement by beating their promotion rivals. They say the current squad must stick together when the January transfer window opens.

Striker Gustav Engvall will return to Bristol City from Djurgarden and be assessed by the coaches, writes the Bristol Post.

And head coach Johnson has spoken to The Sun about changes to club culture which he believes have helped City progress.
