Media Watch - June 9th

Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

Lee Johnson has confirmed he would like to bring in "three or four" new faces to Ashton Gate, in an interview on Made in Bristol TV. The Bristol Post carry the quotes, along with comments about ongoing transfer discussions with Chelsea.

Callum O'Dowda has been speaking to Sky Sports whilst on international duty with Republic of Ireland. The City winger cites West Brom's James McClean as an "inspiration" to him.

The Sun says City are eyeing up Ryan Shotton as a potential replacement for Aden Flint. The Birmingham City defender, 28, only moved to St Andrew's last summer and is said to be wanted by Lee Johnson.

Emyr Huws is another name linked with City, this time by HITC, who also suggest Wolves and Ipswich Town could be interested in signing the Cardiff City and Wales midfield man.

HITC also report that Middlesbrough could be looking for a reunion with Lee Tomlin this summer.

Meanwhile, the Bristol Post takes a closer look at City's pre-season plans to date, which comprise of four friendly matches.
