Media Watch - June 27th

Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

Unsurprisingly much of the focus is on the club's announcement of their first summer signing, with Eros Pisano joining from July 1st.

The 30-year-old Italian defender's arrival is the focus of BBC Sport, Clubcall, The72 and the Bristol Post.

Elsewhere, Somerset Live report that City and Leeds United are set to miss out on free agent defender Conor McLaughlin. Instead, they believe the Northern Irish full back will move to Sky Bet Championship newcomers Millwall.

Staying on the transfer trail, the Bristol Post reports that sources in France say Angers striker Famara Diedhiou is heading to Bristol for a medical, ahead of proposed big money move.

Finally, ESPN focus on former City loanee Tammy Abraham, who is set to play in the Under-21 European Championships semi-final for England against Germany tonight. They have spoken to City assistant head coach Dean Holden about his time working alongside the Chelsea striker in BS3.

These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
