Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.
With pre-season training set to begin shortly for Lee Johnson and his charges, there is plenty speculation that City's head coach and Mark Ashton, the club's chief operating officer, are about to get busy in the transfer market.
The Guardian, Daily Star and L’Equipe all suggest Angers SCO striker Famara Diedhiou is poised to follow in the footsteps of Jonathan Kodjia and make a switch from the French club to Ashton Gate. Another website, Sport Witness, claim the forward will undergo a medical this week and sign a four-year deal.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Italian defender Eros Pisano is also destined for Ashton Gate. The former Verona defender is said to have agreed a deal until 2020 in BS3. On English soil, the Bristol Post and FL72 has simply repeated the Italian media reports.
Conor McLaughlin, previously linked with City this summer, is now attracting interest from Leeds United, Millwall and Bolton Wanderers, according to HITC.
Meanwhile, the Bristol Post reports on Lee Johnson’s quotes about Gustav Engvall, from his exclusive BCTV interview. The City head coach says that Engvall will return from his loan spell at Djurgarden to join the squad at their pre-season training camp in Tenerife.
The Bristol Post also provides supporters with a guide to FC Twente, the Dutch club set to visit Ashton Gate in pre-season.
These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
