Media Watch - June 21st

Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

Bristol City will face Lee Johnson's former club Barnsley at Ashton Gate on the opening day of the 2017/18 season and the Bristol Post have outlined other key dates for the BS3 outfit, following this morning's fixture release.

Meanwhile, City's head coach spoke to BCTV, the club's new platform that has replaced the old Bristol City Player HD service, with the Post reporting on Johnson's quotes.

Returning to transfer news, the Football League World suggest Rangers midfielder Josh Windass would be a good edition to City's ranks.

Elsewhere, former loanee Tammy Abraham was thought to be in talks with Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion following the conclusion of his spell in BS3, but BBC Sport, Sky Sports and The Mirror understand the striker could be set to link up with former Blues assistant boss Paul Clement at Swansea City.

These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
