The Bristol Post focus on Hordur Magnusson and Famara Diedhiou, both of whom have yet to return for pre-season training after summer international duties. New record signing Diedhiou has signalled his excitement via Twitter, while Icelandic defender Magnusson also chose the social media network to communicate with supporters.
The Daily Mail believes City and QPR are battling it out for the loan signing of Chelsea forward Callum Hudson Odoi. The 16-year-old, who represents England at Under-17 level, has recently signed a three-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Elsewhere, the Bristol Post report that John Marquis - a rumoured City target - has rejected a new deal at Doncaster Rovers.
