BBC Sport and the Football League World report on Bristol City’s decision to not offer former Wycombe defender Aaron Pierre a contract. The 24-year-old featured against Guernsey and Bristol Manor Farm during his trial period at the club.

The Bristol Post focus their attention on City's 3-0 win against Bath City and feature Lee Johnson’s comments about Jens Hegeler, who played in the heart of defence for 60 minutes.
