Media Watch - January 3rd

Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

The Bristol Post and Birmingham Mail feature comments from West Brom manager Alan Pardew, who discussed the reasons for why Jonathan Leko was recalled from his loan spell in BS3.

BBC Sport reports on City’s Shawn McCoulsky extending his loan deal at Newport County until the end of the season.

The Post suggest Leeds United are keen on signing FC Groningen striker Mimoun Mahi during the January transfer window - a player City were reportedly interested in during the summer.

Meanwhile, Belgian reports believe Standard Liege have ended their interest in midfielder Robin Lod - another rumoured target. The Panathinaikos international has rejected a new deal at his club, as highlighted by the Post.

These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
