Here's a round-up of the latest online and newspaper media coverage about City.

The Bath Chronicle reports on Gary Owers’ comments made regarding City loanee Connor Lemonheigh-Evans, who netted the winner for the Romans in a 2-1 over Havant & Waterlooville.

Watford boss Marco Silva has told Club Call that his side will not underestimate Lee Johnson’s squad when the two teams meet in tonight’s Carabao Cup second round.

Club Call also suggests that Watford captain Troy Deeney looks set to make his first appearance of the season at Vicarage Road this evening.

Elsewhere, Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah spoke with the Hertfordshire Mercury and said the Premier League outfit will take the cup tie seriously, as they look to continue to adapt to Silva’s style of play.

Finally, Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy was spotted in Sweden at the weekend, watching Djurgarden overcome Halmstads, where Gustav Engvall scored the winning goal. Rumours on social media suggest the Tractor Boys could be interested in Engvall, but the Bristol Post believe McCarthy was watching defender Jacob Une Larsson.

These stories have been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Bristol City FC.
