McCoulsky Recalled From Bath

Shawn McCoulsky has been recalled from his loan spell at Bath City.

Head coach Lee Johnson has revealed he brought the 20-year-old back from his spell in the National League South last Wednesday.

McCoulsky has scored 31 goals this season for the club's Under-23s, Weston-super-Mare and Bath.

Although the youngster didn't make the bench for City's 3-2 win over Barnsley on Saturday, Johnson hasn't ruled out using McCoulsky before the season is out.

"Milan Djuric had a slight niggle so we recalled Shawn last week," City's head coach said.

"It was just nipping a little bit in his groin probably due to us trying to rush him back, but we were glad to be able to name Milan on the bench.

"We always had the plan to recall Shawn anyway, with Gustav Engvall going out on loan. It would be great to get him a run out before the season is done."

City travel to promoted Brighton & Hove Albion next on Saturday evening (5.30pm kick-off), before ending the campaign against Birmingham City at Ashton Gate (12noon kick-off) on Sunday, May 7th.
