McCoulsky Pens New Deal

Shawn McCoulsky has penned a new contract at Ashton Gate, tying him to the club until the summer of 2018.

The new terms also include a further year’s option for the 20-year-old, who joined the club from non-league Dulwich Hamlet in November 2015.

McCoulsky started the season on in red-hot scoring form for the Under-23s, and continued that on loan at Weston-super-Mare.

After two months and seven goals for Weston, McCoulsky returned to Ashton Gate and made his senior debut in the EFL Cup against Hull City.

After a brief loan spell at Torquay United, McCoulsky has since joined Bath City on loan to assist their National League South promotion push.

Meanwhile, Under-18 scholar Owen Barry has joined Clevedon Town on a month’s work experience loan.

The club has also recruited unattached Sierre Leone goalkeeper Alhaji Sesay, 18, after impressing on trial.
