Shawn McCoulsky has joined Newport County on loan until January 1st.
The forward, 20, enjoyed three loan spells in non-league football last season, with Weston-super-Mare, Torquay United and Bath City.
He also appeared for the club’s Under-23s and racked up an incredible 31 goals across the season in various colours.
McCoulsky made his senior debut in October 2016 as a substitute in City’s League Cup tie with Hull City at Ashton Gate.
Brian Tinnion, the club’s loan manager and ambassador, told bcfc.co.uk: “Shawn did fantastically well last season and we want to continue his develop in the EFL now.
“It’s a great deal for all parties and throughout the loan we’ll watch Shawn’s progress closely.”
McCoulsky originally joined the club in 2015 from non-league side Dulwich Hamlet.
