Bristol City Women turn their attention back to league action as they face Manchester City this evening as Barclays FAWSL action returns.
Title-chasing Man City make the trip to Twerton Park tonight as City Women look to bounce back from their FA Continental Tyres Cup Final defeat to Chelsea.
A win could move the Robins four points clear of bottom placed West Ham United.
City fell to defeat in their first ever Conti Cup final in their last outing as they lost 6-0 to Chelsea.
Three goals from Sam Kerr, a double from Frank Kirby and a goal from Guro Reiten claimed victory at Vicarage Road. for the back-to-back winners of the competition.

The Robins have had a mixed bag of results in their last five games, with two wins, two losses and a draw in all competitions.
The two losses were at the hands of Chelsea, with the two wins coming against Reading FC in the league and Leicester City in the Conti Cup.
City’s last league match saw them beat Reading 3-2 in dramatic fashion at Ashton Gate and manager Matt Beard will be hoping the Robins can duplicate that performance on Wednesday night.

Man City enter the game in impressive form with 13 wins in their last 14 - the one loss in the Conti Cup quarter-finals versus eventual winners Chelsea.
More recently, they have been dominant in their last five games - winning five, scoring 16 and conceding zero.
Their last match saw the Citizens beat Fiorentina 5-0 in the UEFA Champions League, seeing them advance to the next round as 8-0 winner on aggregate.
The USA international has found her feet in front of goal in the last couple of weeks, with the midfielder registering five goals in her last four appearances for the Manchester side.
Mewis signed for Manchester City in the summer of 2020 and despite suffering an injury in January she’s come back into the team firing on all cylinders.
With Mewis slowly regaining fitness however, she is yet to complete a full 90 minutes since early December.
After the cup final defeat, Beard says his side improved as the game went on, however it’s no good dwelling on the loss as the squad turn their focus to the league.
“From my perspective it was a frustrating first half,” said Beard.
“The second half we began to do things a bit better. We played against a world-class opponent and now our focus can be on staying in the division.
“We need to recover and focus on Wednesday. We’ve got seven Cup finals left.”
