Take an in-depth look at how City match up against the Bluebirds as Cardiff travel to Ashton Gate for the Severnside Derby on Saturday (12.30pm).
City head into this game off the back of a 6-2 defeat at Craven Cottage against a ruthless Fulham side, the two City goals coming through two well struck Antoine Semenyo strikes.
Nigel Pearson will want to see his side quickly bounce back from their game with the Cottagers they head into the much anticipated Severnside Derby looking to get back-to-back league home wins in front of over 20,000 fans at Ashton Gate.
Antoine Semenyo is yet to score at Ashton Gate this season therefore he will be keen to follow on from his excellent finishing after impressing on the road in recent fixtures.
Cardiff come into this game without a SkyBet Championship win since late November when they beat Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road, thanks to goals from Sean Morrison and Ruben Colwill.
Steve Morison will be keen to see his side claim all three points in his first Severnside Derby as he looks to put a bit of distance between his side and the relegation zone as they sit just five points above 22nd placed Peterborough.
With just one clean sheet in the league this season Morison will want to see his side be robust at the back as centre back Aden Flint returns to his former club.

Zak Vyner clipped the ball forward for Andreas Weimann, who initially saw the ball get away from him, before racing past Aden Flint to bury the ball past Dillon Phillips from a tight angle.
The Bluebirds had begun to pile on the pressure at the start of the second half and moments later it paid off when Marlon Pack slipped in Kieffer Moore, whose deflected shot was cleared off the line by Nathan Baker but bounced back into the net via Bentley’s back.
Antoine Semenyo was introduced after 65 minutes and he looked alert from the off, forcing Phillips into a low stop before assisting City on their way back in front. It was his cross from the right which found Weimann arriving at the far post and the Austrian caught his volley perfectly to restore City’s lead.
The midfielder has five assists to his name this season as well as currently siting joint top of the Cardiff ratings with a score of 7.04 alongside former Robin, Aden Flint.
