Magnusson’s Iceland slip to defeat

Hordur Magnusson completed 90 minutes for Iceland in their World Cup warm-up match defeat to Norway.

Gylfi Sigurdsson gave the hosts a second half lead, after Alfred Finnbogason's spot-kick cancelled out Bjorn Johnsen's sweetly struck opener.

However, Joshua King drew Norway level in the 80th minute when his angled strike nestled into the far corner, and the Bournemouth man was then on hand to assist Alexander Sorloth, who netted the winner with five minutes remaining.

Iceland now prepare to face Ghana on Thursday evening (June 7th) in their final friendly, before coming up against Argentina in their World Cup opener on June 16th.
