Hordur Magnusson returns to the City starting line up to face Nottingham Forest this afternoon (3pm).
Lee Johnson has opted to rest Niclas Eliasson on the bench, in the only change to the side which beat Sheffield United last time out.
Magnusson will slot into the left-back position, with Joe Bryan operating on the left-wing.
Paterson also lines up against his former side and goes in search of scoring his third goal in as many games for City.
