Hordur Magnusson has been called up by Iceland for their World Cup qualifier in Croatia on Saturday.
The City defender won his seventh cap for his country as a substitute in the 2-0 victory over Turkey last month.
Iceland and Croatia are tied at the top of Group I with seven points from their first three qualifiers and go head to head in Zagreb this weekend.
Euro 2016 quarter-finalists Iceland will also tackle Malta in a friendly on Tuesday, November 15th before Magnusson returns to the City squad next week.
Callum O’Dowda (Republic of Ireland), Tammy Abraham (England Under-21s) and Taylor Moore (England Under-20s) will also be away representing their countries.
