Ivan Lucic will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Danish club Aalborg BK.
The 21-year-old had a taste of first-team action earlier this season but will now have the opportunity to gain regular match action in Danish Superliga, where Aalborg currently sit eighth.
Austrian Lucic joined City from Bayern Munich in the summer and has played twice for the first team so far.
He recently spent time on trial with Aalborg, who liked what they saw enough to agree a five-month loan deal.
