Logarzo is a Robin

Bristol City Women is delighted to announce the signing of Australian international Chloe Logarzo from Sydney FC on a one and a half year deal.

Logarzo is the Robins’ fifth January signing as Tanya Oxtoby looks to bolster her midfield options heading into the tail end of the campaign.

The 25-year-old has been a part of the Matildas squad for seven years, in which she has made over 40 appearances for her national side featuring in the 2016 Olympics squad, as well as the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup,.

The midfielder was also apart of the Matildas squad that won the Tournament of Nations in the US back in 2017.

Logarzo brings a wealth of international experience and winning pedigree with her to the Barclays FAWSL. In her debut season for Sydney FC in 2011 the midfielder made twelve appearances, scoring on three occasion en route to winning her first W-League title.

The Australian then had spells at other W-League sides, such as Colorado Pride and Newcastle Jets before venturing to Europe for two season to play at Eskilstuna United and Avaldsnes, before returning to native Australia to re-join Sydney FC in 2017.

Logarzo was named Sydney FC Player of the Year in 2018 and a year later won her second W-League title with the midfielder getting on the scoresheet in Sydney FC’s 4-2 victory over Perth in the 2019 W-League Grand Final.

City Women’s newest recruit will be joining her new teammates in mid-February after the Matildas have completed their Women’s Olympic Asia Qualifying fixtures against China-Taipei (Monday, February 3rd), Thailand (Thursday, February 6th) and China (Sunday, February 9th).
