Benik Afobe, Filip Benković and Pedro Pereira have all returned to their parent clubs following the expiry of their City loan deals.
Pereira was the first loanee to arrive at Ashton Gate back in August, securing a season-long loan from Benfica.
The right-back made 22 appearances in City colours, scoring twice.
Afobe followed just 24 hours later, from Sky Bet Championship rivals Stoke City. Having netted three goals in his opening five appearances, the striker’s season was heavily hampered by an ACL injury, but the commitment shown towards his rehabilitation saw him return to full fitness following the resumption of football, post COVID-19 lockdown.
In total, Afobe represented the Robins on 12 occasions.
Fast forward to the January transfer deadline day, and that saw Benković complete a temporary switch from Premier League side Leicester City, as the Robins beat off a number of clubs competing for his signature.
In 10 appearances, the centre-back scored twice.
Everyone connected with the club would like to thank these players for their efforts throughout their time in BS3 and we wish them well for the future.
Elton John plays at Ashton Gate tonight. See below for all your concert travel information to help get fans to and from the stadium.
