Loan Watch: Vyner's Plymouth win again

Zak Vyner helped Plymouth Argyle to a fifth straight win on Saturday – moving them to within a point of the League One play-offs.

Sonny Bradley scored the only goal on the stroke of half-time as the Pilgrims secured a 1-0 victory at Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium.

Joe Morrell completed another 90 minutes for Cheltenham Town as they were beaten 2-0 by Wycombe Wanderers, while Shawn McCoulsky played 64 minutes in a goalless draw for Newport County with Notts County.

There was disappointment for Torquay United, who were beaten 3-0 by Dagenham & Redbridge, with George Dowling and Connor Lemonheigh-Evans both featuring.

Jonny Smith’s AFC Fylde also suffered defeat, losing 1-0 at home to Leyton Orient.

Solihull Moors kept up their good form with a 3-2 victory over Dover Athletic. Goalkeeper Max O’Leary started the game, while Opi Edwards came on in the second half.

Aaron Parsons and Ashley Harper helped Weston-super-Mare fight back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to East Thurrock United.

Bath City scored a stoppage time equaliser at home to Whitehawk, with James Morton and Antoine Semenyo both featuring.

Cameron Pring’s Hereford FC went top of the Evo-Stik South table thanks to a 4-0 drubbing of Dunstable Town, while Kel Akpobire’s Guernsey drew 2-2 with VCD Athletic.
