Loan Watch: Victory for Vyner

Zak Vyner helped Rotherham to their second win of the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship season.

The right-back earned his defence a clean sheet as the Millers beat Millwall 1-0 on Sunday (August 26th).

Midfielder James Morton starred in Bath City’s latest win as they beat Weston-super-Mare 2-0. George Nurse, who is returning from injury, was substituted for the away side.

Shawn McCoulsky was an unused substitute as his Southend United team beat Bristol Rovers 1-0, while wide man Jonny Smith played his part in Tranmere Rovers’ 1-0 win over Port Vale.

Tyreeq Bakinson and Antoine Semenyo featured in Newport County’s Carabao Cup second round exit as they were beaten 3-0 at home to Oxford United on Tuesday night (August 28th). They were victorious at the weekend however, with Bakinson and Semenyo featuring in a 1-0 win over Grimsby Town.

Goalkeeper JoJo Wollacott played as Truro City were beaten 3-1 (away to National League South leaders Woking) at the weekend before a 3-2 defeat on Monday evening to Hungerford Town.

And defender Harvey Smith watched from the bench as his Hereford United side were beaten 2-1 at home to Bradford.
