Loan Watch: Trio secure back-to-back wins

Antoine Semenyo, Zak Vyner and Harvey Smith helped their respective clubs to consecutive victories in their last two games.

Versatile defender Vyner helped Rotherham United to a 3-1 Carabao Cup win against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night (August 14th), following a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday (August 11th).

Meanwhile centre-back Smith featured in a 2-1 win for Hereford United, after helping his side keep a clean sheet as they beat Curzon Ashton 1-0 Saturday.

Striker Semenyo added the fourth goal as Newport County sent Cambridge United crashing out of the cup with a 4-1 victory. He also played a part in Newport's 1-0 win over Crewe last Saturday, in which Tyreeq Bakinson was an unused substitute.

James Morton provided an assist as Bath City ran out 3-0 winners against Gloucester City on Tuesday night, after playing his role in a 1-0 victory over Hampton & Richmond Borough at the weekend.

Shawn McCoulsky netted in Southend United's 4-2 Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Brentford.

Aaron Parsons played in Weston-super-Mare's 2-1 defeat to Slough Town on Tuesday night, after he and goalscorer George Nurse featured in a 3-2 defeat to St Albans City just days before. George Dowling featured in Eastleigh's 2-1 win against Barnet on Saturday.

Tom Richards and Jojo Wollacott featured in Truro City's 2-1 loss at Chippenham Town, following a 2-2 draw - Wollacott did not play - on Saturday with Eastbourne Borough.

And Jonny Smith came off the bench as Tranmere Rovers slipped to a 3-1 Tuesday night loss at home to Walsall, following a 1-0 victory over Gary Johnson's Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
